NO.01 EMERSON, feature fragrance

Modern and classic, nothing in you will want to be rude, or maybe you will somehow know better.  NO.01 EMERSON, the very first fragrance created by helô company, evokes a nice cup of tea with fresh, sweet roses from the garden.

top notes: earl grey tea, sparkling lemon, dried apricot
mid notes: warm cardamom, honey, water lotus
base notes: cuban tobacco, amber, green tea, sandalwood

When I created this fragrance it made me think of a dressing table at my grandparents house that had since been occupied by one of my aunts.  The rose and sandalwood notes remind me of a dusting powder that had a prominent place to the left of the mirror, the hint of tobacco added a hint of my grand father's pipe tobacco.  The scent is simple but in the same way that some of the best things in life can be.  Like so many of their generation, my grandparents believed in quality over quantity, so what they had was GOOD.

This is a fresh floral, it is subtle and feminine; but by no means is it "old lady-ish" or typical.  I chose it as the scent profile of May in honor of all the mother's who were also women, independent, classic and modern; in addition to being "Mom".
